How much space for Renewables?
Surprisingly little is the space needed for renewable energy sources to meet the 2040 agenda. For a country as Romania, dedicating 0,7% of the country's surface to renewables would be sufficient, whileas 17% of the land is suitable. For other EU countries the challenge is a bit tougher but on an EU-level the amount of suitable land is still two times more than the amount of land that is required.
